Welcome to the next Controller Spike, a La Crosse Regional smash tournament! This project has been in consideration for nearly two years, and we’re very excited to bring it back for 2021.

This event will feature a 5-man Ultimate Crew battle against Rochester, MN. We will also be hosting Melee Singles + Doubles, Ultimate Singles + Doubles, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl!

Pre-registration

Due to COVID, we’re capping Melee singles at 32 and Ultimate Singles at 64, so make sure to register online at https://tinyurl.com/cspike2.
We’ll be updating the Challonge with people who pre-register, you can view entrants here: https://challonge.com/users/uwl_smash/tournaments

~Mask is required at all times within the venue.
~Bring your own controller
~Registration will be ongoing until the cap is reached, or until the event starts.

11:30 p.m. Venue Opens

Fees

Melee and Ultimate Singles are $10, Doubles is $5ea, Nickelodeon is $5, and venue fee is $5.
We are also selling 2.5″ button-pins for $5; every sale will go to venue costs, and once venue cost is met, all additional money will be entered back into the pots!

Bracket Rules:

Ultimate and Melee will be double elimination, Nickelodeon will be single elimination unless enough setups are brought.
Sets are best of 3 until Winners Semis, Losers Quarters.

Melee:
PS will be a starter and FD a counterpick unless the setup does not have frozen stadium.
Standard stage rules apply for Bo3 and Bo5 sets.
